If you are interested in exploring the wider Wanaka area, independent food shopping, experiencing activities off site, or you are a partner of a hunter seeking a bit of independence, we recommend hiring a rental car at Queenstown Airport or Christchurch Airport.

If you are with us purely to hunt, where all of your time will be spent on site here at Lake Hāwea Station, no car is needed. We will arrange a pick-up and drop-off to and from Queenstown Airport. Your guide will meet you in the Lake Hāwea Station branded Toyota Hilux.

Please note, if landing in Christchurch, pick-up and drop-offs by your guide are not available, it is vehicle hire only.
